New V2 Piston improves on our V1 piston with some improvements we have learned the last 3 years of racing.
We have upped the compression a small amount from our V1, tightened some tolerances right up to the max margin to improve ring stability and high rpm performance, and decrease trapped unused charge losses above ring lands and around valve pockets.
Our Full Race pistons are designed for highest abuse, high rpm applications. They have highly optimized skirt and piston design elements for ultra precise ring land flatness and surface finish for maximum performance, high strength specialized design features that allow for minimal weight but max strength at high rpm.
Our dome design maximizes compression ratio while focussing on maximum flame speed and combustion performance to decrease negative work and unwanted heat transfer loss from designs that burn slower and require more ignition advance.
